NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course

Service Description

The Basic Rifle Shooting Course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling of a rifle in classes of four students. This course is approximately eight hours long and includes classroom and firing range time learning the basic fundamentals of shooting a rifle. Students will learn the rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; shooting from the benchrest and the free-arm and support-arm standing positions; cleaning the rifle; and additional opportunities for skill development. Nothing to bring - rifles and ammunition provided. This class is taught by a former LEO, veteran, and NRA instructor with over 25 years of experience as an armed professional.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your class up to 72 hours before the class begins and request to receive a full refund. If cancellation is made less than 72 hours before the class begins, $40 of the class fee will be retained to cover the cost of individualized materials that were printed for you and lost revenue due to unfilled training slots.
